Executive Summary

Building this website taught me many lessons in modern web development. I learned the importance of writing clean, compliant code that ensures consistency and accessibility across different browsers and devices. Implementing W3C and WCAG guidelines in my HTML showed me how to create a more inclusive web experience for all users, including those with disabilities.

Through the process, I gained practical experience in designing a website that prioritizes the user experience. Incorporating PHP into the site gave me some valuable insight about how websites work in the background and how user data is best acquired and managed. This project also deepened my understanding of the web development industry, including some of the main players in web hosting and content management systems, as well as the legal and ethical aspects of web development. Overall, building this website equipped me with valuable skills and insights that I’ll apply to my future endeavors.
